About The Site

Welcome to the Toonami Alliance

We are a brand new Toonami fan site focusing on promoting and celebrating the Adult Swim action cartoon block known as Toonami.

Toonami’s storied history begins on March 17, 1997, with a lineup of Thundercats, Voltron, Cartoon Roulette, and The New Adventures of Jonny Quest.  When it ended on September 20th, 2008 (final lineup: Naruto, Ben 10: Alien Force, and Samurai Jack) many thought the block was lost forever. But on April 1st, 2012, the unthinkable happened, Toonami returned for one night celebrating its history by airing many classic shows but also pointing ahead to the future by premiering a brand-new Bleach episode to kick off the night.

And, on May 26th, 2012, the block was truly reborn.

While the past will always be respected and will be discussed on occasion,  Toonami Alliance is focused upon the rebirth that happened May 26, 2012. Since that day, Toonami’s return gained a constant support from old and new fans alike as the block continued to grow stronger. Starting with cutting-edge anime like Deadman Wonderland and Soul Eater, running intense Western animation like Thunder Cats  (2011) and Sym-Bionic Titan, and running a trifecta of Bleach, Naruto, and (the upcoming) One Piece, three of the most popular animated shows to ever run on either side of the Pacific.

With Toonami growing stronger than ever, we felt the need to create this site to show our love for the action block that gave us so much in our childhood and continues to do so today.

We are not doing this for attention, but because we truly care and support this block and want people to have a great spot to get the latest news, ratings reports and editorials on the block that has done so much of for us.

We hope you enjoy this website as we continue to build you a better cartoon site worthy of the Toonami name.
